FEDERAL SKILLED WORKER PROGRAM

The federal skilled worker/Professional Program is for those individuals and their dependent family members, who wish to live and work in Canada. Under the FSW program, Applicants have to score minimum of 67 points out of 100 through a points based test considering the factors such as work experience, education, and French or English language skills. These are the last application CHC will accept under the current system before Express Entry launches in January 2015.

Applicants satisfying the below given requirements can apply under Canada FSW program:

Experience

  • Applicant should have minimum 1year of full time employment or equal to the amount if it is part time in previous 10 year, which should fall in 50 eligible occupations;
  • Work Should be in a skill type 0 or skills levels A or B according to the Canadian NOC (National Occupational classification)

Education

  • Applicant has to be a Certificate or Diploma holder or higher depending upon the occupation requirement.

Language ability

  • The applicant has to meet the minimum requirements of either French or English.
